'You are Infinite' the Yogi tea bag says...

Big number stuff going on!!!!!

90, 18, 20 and 50!!!!!

90:
I didn't run much this week - only twice - 11 miles total!  Too much going on, in addition to a rained out day, kept me from running much. I'm supposed to be tapering anyway, I guess...plus, I was a little tired from the mileage last week. I did run a lot of miles; 90 miles in 9 days, which was a first for me.

18:
I saw my sister Cynthia for the first time in 18 years on Wednesday. She lives in Florida, but drove down to meet me in Phoenix from Las Vegas, where she has been on vacation. It was joyous. The last time I saw her was when our father died 18 years ago.

We had a blast. Just one evening, but there is not much like two sisters reconnecting. I love you and have missed you Cynthia.

20:
Today I celebrate 20 years, 'XX', of not drinking alcohol. I didn't know I was choosing a different life 20 years ago today, but it sure has been a good one. It has had it's ups and downs (whew, survived last year's emotional roller coaster!) but I'd do it all over again. I love the woman I am today. Thank you God for 20 years of continuous sobriety. It is truly a gift for which I owe a debt of gratitude greater than I'll be able to square in my lifetime. So, I show my gratitude by helping others.

50:
I'll be running 50 miles on Saturday! Wish me strong legs and lots of PMA (positive mental attitude)! This will be the first time ever running 50 miles. I'll see almost all of my TTR friends out, either running, or at aid stations. It will be awesome!!!!

'Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the price is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you're never living twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life...'
